Tuesday, 16/04
Jn 6:32-33
“Truly in truth I say to you; it is not Moses who gave you bread from heaven , but it is my Father who gives you bread from heaven, the true bread. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
Jesus becomes bread to nourish all generations of those who believe in Him ,so that by nourishing the heart, soul and body of Jesus we can become fully persons according to God’s plan, in full self-realization.

Jn 6:39
And this is the will of Him who sent me : that I lose nothing of what He has given me ,but that I raise it up on the last day.
The Father has handed over all humanity of all times to Jesus , we are in His hands ,He saves us and keeps us , indocility to His love does not diminish His keeping and continually seeks to bring us close to Him since we are His treasure.

Jn 6:51
I am the living bread, come down from heaven .If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.
The greatest joy for Jesus is to be eaten, He is true Love and love gives itself , lets itself be consumed , dissolves itself in the other so that others may have life in its giving. Jesus is the most essential food of all, without him we have no life.

Jn 6:53-54
Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life in you.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
To eat the body and drink the blood of Jesus means to be assimilated by Him ,to participate in His own life which is eternal, therefore the body is lost, but we always live with Jesus, we do not die.

Jn 6:63
Jesus said to them, It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh is of no avail ; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
All material things have a temporary value are destined to end , but those who feed on Jesus’ words receive the wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit that produces in us the spiritual life that remains forever and gives us the true meaning of ‘existence.
Sunday 21/04
Jn 10:11 and 14
At that time Jesus said, I am the good Shepherd .The good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep . I am the good Shepherd , I know my sheep and my sheep know me .
The image of the shepherd evokes the reality of dedication, Jesus is for us ,he devotes himself exclusively to us with an inconceivable , total love for us and those who discover all this cannot help but devote themselves entirely to the cause of Jesus . This is the mystery of those who leave everything for Him
Monday 22/04
Jn 10:7 and 8b
Jesus said to them again, Verily, verily I say unto you :I am the Door of the sheep . I am the door ; if one enters through me ,he will be saved ; he will go in and out and find pasture.
When existence becomes burdensome with its asphyxiating respectability Jesus is the possibility offered to us to make a transition to a different quality of life because it is not only of the world , but possesses the dimension of eternity
