Jn 14:27
Jesus said to his disciples, “I leave you peace, I give you my peace. Not as the world gives it, I give it to you.
One of Jesus’ Easter gifts is peace. True peace is given to us we must create the conditions to receive it and these are, justice, sharing of goods, respect for the person, love for the poor , nonviolence. World peace is articulated on this principle:“ if you want peace prepare for war”

Matthew 13:54-55
At that time Jesus was teaching in the Synagogue and people were amazed and said :” where did this wisdom and wonders come from him? Is not this the carpenter’s son? And is not his mother named Mary?
Jesus grows and is formed as a man by working as a carpenter-carpenter. Work is redeemed by Jesus and becomes for those who live it with faith and according to the Word of God a means of sanctification and edification of society.

Jn 15:10
If you keep my commandments ,you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

Jn 15:12
Jesus said to his disciples, “This is my commandment : that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this : to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
The greatest love of all is that of Jesus who gave everything, if we want to love we must enter into this greatest love because only then can we love, with our own strength we will only succeed in loving those who love us.

Jn 15:20
Remember the word I told you : A servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me they will also persecute you; if they have kept my word they will also keep yours.
The person of Jesus and his words if on the one hand fascinate and seduce on the other hand arouse violent rejection and hostility. Jesus will always remain a sign of contradiction either one accepts him or rejects him ,so it will be for his disciples.
Sunday, 5/05
Jn 15:9
Jesus said to his disciples, As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Abide in my love.
This is a solemn declaration of love from the Lord. He loves each of us as He is loved by the Father what then should we fear? Let us remain confident in every good or bad situation we find ourselves in. Someone in heaven loves me unconditionally and always.
