St. Joseph: patron saint of spazio+spadoni

St. Joseph, spazio+spadoni’s guide to new horizons of solidarity, mission and mercy

With humble and grateful hearts to God, we come to communicate that we have chosen and determined to entrust the work of spazio+spadoni to the powerful patronage of St. Joseph, formerly the patron of the universal Church bride of Christ and the silent and faithful guardian of Jesus the worker of Mercy.

We invite everyone in the spazio+spadoni family to celebrate him every year on March 19, the day dedicated to him.

The prayer of the people of spazio+spadons to the patron St. Joseph

Father and Creator of the world
grant to us, through the intercession
and the example of St. Joseph,
to be faithful to the responsibilities you entrust to us
and to become artisans of the reEvolution of works of mercy.
Grant that we may always enjoy His protection
that we may intercept
all the sufferings of the world
of which the Crucifix is the most convincing Icon.
Amen.

Prayer meeting

On March 19 at 7 p.m., the people of spazio+spadoni will gather to pray from around the world to St. Joseph, patron of spazio+spadoni.

Pope Francis’ thoughts on St. Joseph

St. Joseph did not astound, he was not endowed with special charisms, he did not appear special in the eyes of those who met him. He was not famous, nor did he stand out: the Gospels do not record a single word of his.

So it happens in vocation: the divine call always pushes one to go out, to give oneself, to go further. There is no faith without risk.

St. Joseph teaches silence, the space where the Spirit speaks and consoles.

I am trying to strengthen my devotion to the Saint whose name I unworthily bear. For he is the Saint of silence. He spoke not with words, but with actions.

St. Joseph and mercy

Joseph was the guardian, the keeper of mercy, the eyewitness, the depositary. He is the one who, together with Mary, can show us the way “to” and “of” mercy because the whole “private” or “hidden” life of Jesus is entrusted to his custody.
