O God, who gave your people St. Emma the widow, by her help make us strong and persevering in the faith, to cooperate assiduously in the unity of the Church. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who is God, and lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever. Amen

There are two Saints with the name Emma: of the second we shall not have occasion to speak, because her memory falls on June 29, the feast of Apostles Peter and Paul. Of the first we can instead speak today, since no other saint is proposed, on this date, by the Universal Calendar.
