O Jesus I surrender myself to you

A year with Don Dolindo Ruotolo

Don Dolindo (1882-1970), a Neapolitan priest, was an indefatigable and refined man of letters, a brilliant musician, cantor and organist, but above all a fantastic preacher who spent his entire life in poverty for his neighbor, favoring the poorest especially in a difficult city like Naples, where he spent most of his life carrying out his ministry in almost every parish to which he was sent. He met St. Pio of Pietrelcina to whom he was often assimilated, both of whom were repeatedly subjected to attacks by the Holy Office with the impediment of officiating Mass in public. They had the gift of prophecy, the charism of utmost obedience to the Church and accepted in everything the Will of God in the deepest humility. These selected pages edited by Fr Marcello Stanzione, a priest expert in Angelology, are taken from the writings of Fr Dolindo and offer a daily meditation for an entire year.
