Today, it is a deacon from the diocese of Rieti, Giuseppe Angelucci, who writes us the “letter under the tree”
Dear World,
how is it that a woman advanced in age was able to recognize in her very young cousin the Mother of the Lord, and we, in the depths of our hearts, are not able to recognize the suffering of so many of our brothers and sisters, even close to us, especially of children, the suffering and the weak?
Let us ask the coming Lord to make us recognize the shining face of God’s presence in all the people that Providence places beside us and to think of the needs of the weak.
