On “Il Mediterraneo24,” Serena Termini tells us about the inauguration of “La putia dei sogni” and a boy of Ivorian origin

Palermo – Music, training, educational, artistic and recreational workshops will be offered by La Putia dei Sogni, the new venue, cleared from the mafia, inaugurated (in November, ed.) by the L’Albero della Vita Foundation, coordinated by Serena Fleres, in Palermo’s Zen2 neighborhood.

“La Putìa dei Sogni,” or the workshop of dreams, is dedicated to young people, aged 13 to 17. Adding a touch of beauty to the facade of the venue is the new mural created by artist Igor Scalisi Palminteri.

Among the young people, expressing all his joy is 15-year-old Emmanuel Anwi, who is originally from the Ivory Coast but was born and has always lived at Zen2.

“I am very happy to be able to attend this center that will allow me to do beautiful things,” Emmanuel says. ”I like music and I play guitar and drums from time to time. I also hope that we will be able to organize dance times together. I study at Meli classical high school and when I grow up I would like to be a psychologist. Today for me and my younger siblings there is the opportunity to do so many activities.”
