Beginning with prayer in Paul VI Hall; followed by The International Conference sponsored by the Dicastery for Evangelization on the theme “Forgiveness as a Source of Hope.” In the afternoon, the celebration of the 12th “24 Hours for the Lord” in the Basilica of Sant’Andrea della Valle, to reflect on the sacrament of reconciliation and forgiveness.

On Saturday, it will be the turn of the pilgrimage to St. Peter’s Basilica and the prayer of the Rosary at the Lourdes Grotto in the Vatican Gardens.

But who are the Missionaries of Mercy?

They are priests selected around the world through consultation with individual bishops, who have received from Pope Francis his own faculties to absolve sins, as well as a special mandate as preachers during the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. A ministry that has been extended beyond the Holy Year, entrusted to the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.

In addition to preaching God’s mercy, they are called to hear confessions in the most delicate situations and to proclaim the joy of forgiveness.

In this jubilee, spazio + spadoni wishes them that mercy will be the road on which they walk, in the footsteps of the Gospel, and that every brother and sister they meet may rediscover the joy of being forgiven, loved, welcomed.
